Artra Green – Chief Executive Director & Founder . I thank God for placing dreams in my heart to help others in need. Back in 1993, I had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Haiti. It changed my life. It was there that I learned of the true struggles of a people needing the necessities of life like food, clean water, shelter, and clothing. The basics that we take for granted every day that others do without. In June of 2014, God gave me a global dream of action to not only help those in Haiti but around the world. Helping Children Around the World was the result of that. However, the reality is that I cannot do it alone, but together we can make a difference. Let’s dream together, wake up together, and make it happen together!

		Ernest Hakim – President . For nearly 30 years I have served as an attorney and legal consultant to various clients in different areas of law including Contracts, Publishing, International Law, Business Law, and Corporate Law. Along with my legal practice and consulting, I have served as an Adjunct Professor of Law for nearly 28 years. I was compelled to join Helping Children Around The World as President and as a board member because of the founder’s passion, love, and commitment to others, especially children. I jumped at the opportunity to give my life in service to such a vital cause and to use my skills to help the corporation fulfill its mission.

		Carmen Perry, ACC – Secretary I’ve worked in Healthcare and IT for over 40 years in strategic development and supply chain management. I have spent the last four years building Carmen Perry & Associates as an ICF-certified life coach and career strategist. In addition, I am a Leadership Advisor for the GoAL program (Generation of Aspirational Leaders) @ SJSU Lucas School of Business. Valerie Vaultz – Treasurer I have a special heart for people who are hurting, especially children. I have been engaged in many actions serving young people in the community. I am presiding president of the National Association of University (NAUW) West Coast Cities Branch with a tenure of 6 years. NAUW, for over a millennium, has provided qualified high school students with scholarships (tuition, books), and health awareness to the community (i.e.: Cancer, Sickle Cell Anemia, etc).
